Lea Rutishauser studied Business Administration at the University of Zurich. During and after her studies she worked in the area of Human Resource Management in companies operating in the finance sector. In December 2012, she joined the Chair in Human Resource Management of Prof. Dr. Bruno Staffelbach at the University of Zurich as research associate and doctoral candidate. Lea Rutishauser got her PhD from the University of Zurich in 2017. Since then, she is a senior researcher and lecturer at the Center of HRM at the University of Lucerne where she is also leading a CTI-financed research project on Talent Management. Her main research interest is on social relationships of employees at the workplace (leader-member exchange, team-member exchange, co-worker support) with a focus on topics such as cross-cultural management, organizational change, talent management, and employee retention.
Research
Lea Rutishauser was project member of the CTI financed research project “Innovative HR Concept for Export Development in China”. Currently, she is project manager of an ongoing project about talent management. Her research focus lies in employee relationships at the workplace such as leader-member exchange, team-member exchange, and co-worker support. Within this area of interest, she does research on cross-cultural management, organizational change, talent management, and employee retention.
